This has been a potential Global Threat since the end of the Second World War, and no matter how much wealth/security we think we have, it is not enough to protect from Thermonuclear weapons and the accompanying radiation clouds.
 
Absolutely, the threat of thermonuclear weapons remains a global concern. No amount of wealth or security can shield us from the devastating impact of such weapons, including the long-term effects of radiation.
 
I hope that all parties to the conflict will show common sense and not use nuclear weapons. After all, in such a war there will be neither winners nor losers.
