Stop Loss strategy ,is it good or Bad

I heard some people utilize this strategy to avoid losing. In such a strategy you never use SL in your purchases and await the market another in your way or close the order by hand when you are feeling it is dangerous to carry such order. You can also use hedging to avoid further reduction.
To apply this strategy one will need good amount of capital in which to stay very long time in market.
What's your view and experience regarding that one? please talk about here.
*SL=Stop loss

i won't use stop loss. except trade on big news

when you follow stricly money management and follo risk to reward ratio ....then good ...cause account safety first

Hummmm c'est quand-même dangereux mais en même temps intéressant.
Car ça fait mal de voir son SL être touché et la tendance repartir dans notre sens!

Hedging strategies may be a good replacement for using stop losses but it eats up your available margin. So yes, you need to have a relatively large account. I'd rather use stop loss. Either I'm right or I'm out. ;)

My most successful strategies use this type of approach, very large stop loss. But you need some type of money management system in place, small lot sizes and large trading capital to survive the drawdows that you have to ride through.

depend on snr, sometimes better not put sl.like gu pair.sometimes its spike and hit sl..then rebound. for me,always hold floating untill it rebound.unless its break

When we are planning to involve with currency exchanges then we must try to employ some risk administration process in our daily trading journey. Such as: many foreign currency exchange traders are now trying to hedge their capital position by using numerous risk management tools in their trading schedule. Stop loss is a sort of pending order where a trader can try to minimize the risk of value decrease from sudden price fluctuations.

it depends on your strategie, most times stoploss is better as margin call. if you use a intelligent hedging-algorithm, you do not need a sl
