Has anyone used MT4 on an M1 Imac?

Hey everyone,

Apologies if i’m posting this in the wrong section.

Quick question, has anyone here used MT4 on the new M1 Imac?

If yes, does it work well?

And, are you using the one with 8gb ram or 16gb?

I have an intel 16" Macbook now with 16gb ram that works fine with MT4, but considering buying an Imac as well, figured i'd ask here first however since i'd mainly be using it for trading.

Yes it works fine, but does not work with MQL5 autodownload, so you have to use PC for the downloads and manually copy across.

Better to use use Windows or Linux to run to avoid issues.. mac has frequent updates.
