Yes they are, but you have to patient and trust your system. There will always be losing trades, but in the long-run your strategy will be profitable.
But where a lot of traders fail, is in the risk/money management side of things. Its good to have a winning strategy but you need a losing strategy aswell

I always recommend renko trading systems to people as with renko market is trending 70% of the time and consolidating 30% of the time and with candlesticks this is just the opposite

Heikin Ashi candles sticks are reliable as well in trading it helps alot
