The root cause of revenge trading I think is that you have not accepted your risk. I was once told that you need to be happy to lose the amount you set your SL at. Once that is settled then trading becomes less stressful and trying to "get back" your losses'
One thing that I am struggling with is learning from my mistakes. I have made bad trading decisions where I know where I went wrong. Problem is that I forget these lessons and invariably make the same mistake a few days later.

I find it hard to set goals because of my inconsistency on a day by day basis. It no good for me to say I am going to earn 2% today as one day I am up and the next I am down. I think goals need to be set for longer-term like monthly or quarterly..
