I think you can take any EA with adjustable parameters and try and test and test to find ones that kind of work, but have a way to intervene if the drawdown becomes more than a certain amount. Then turn it off for a day or 2 then restart it. nothing seems to work all the time
i have only ever heard of one EA that works and it is not accesible, costs too much for individuals to buy and also very limited.
I have tried EAs available to us but nothing has worked. I came close once but the 5% intraday caught me again...
Does anyone have a view regarding the tight intraday drawdown limits of prop firms please? I mean, are they reasonable? How do we build a good position size without blowing thru the 5%? Any ideas or comments appreciated as i struggling with this point.
