Use an MTF indicator placed twice on the chart. One one apply daily timeframe setting and on the second apply setting of the timeframe you are trading i.e. 1hour and below. Take trades on indicator signals that are in line with the direction of the higher timeframe

The best day trading strategy is taking trades on 1 hour chart in line with the daily timeframe trend. I often wait for retracements to value areas or use an indicator arrow when price is retracing.
