    I completely agree with you and I learnt it the hard way . after a decade of trading and few stop outs , now I barely risk 3-4 percent and usually do 1 percent .

    you are rightbbut I think when you use higher timeframes , you perform more reliable analysis , trade with less stress and spread really doesn't matter any more
