I consider FP Markets one of the safest brokers because they have been active for over a decade. I have never come across any issues like spread widening or withdrawals denied till date.

For lower spreads, I consider trading with FP Markets because they have some of the lowest spreads that average at 0pips for the most part of the day in major pairs like EURUSD, GBPUSD, etc...

I use the demo account to try multiple strategies, and after finding the best suitable strategy, I use it the real account to earn profit from it.

It has been two months trading with FP Markets, the spreads offered in Major pairs start as low as 0.0pips, and the minimum opening balance is $100. As for IC Markets, I have never tried them but read reviews; the spreads do not seem to be tight and minimum opening balance is $200.

I would suggest trading using a demo account before live trading. I traded using a Demo account with FP Markets as a first-time forex user, and they have an e-book and other forex learning options which helped in gaining forex knowledge.

Do i have to face a lot of loss to make huge profit ? Or can it all be avoided by just trading sensibly and with caution ?

I'm a beginner and was thinking to trade with Micro or Mini account, but not sure which one is the best to use ?
