I HATE the gurus that sell the false narrative to those clients. Not only do they give trading a bad name, but the majority of them don't have any helpful advice. I think it gets people started on the wrong foot and only causes more of them to lose money.
Exactly, rushing or being lazy can definitely play a big part in this. There are good traders out there that put in effort and still lose money, but a large percentage of the failed traders you hear about can be blamed on those two factors.
Beginners always need to stick with low leverage. More experienced traders may be able to handle larger leverage well, and it's always nice to have the option, but it can also blow accounts so people need to be very careful with it. A lot of professionals use 1:100 leverage.
Always start on demo, don't get lazy or try to rush through it. Trade there until you're consistently profitable. In the meantime, study trading psychology so that you don't get blindsided by that once you open a real account.
It's going to be next to impossible to find a real trader that's willing to teach you everything for free. There are mentors out there, but the truth is that a lot of them are failed traders themselves. The best thing to do is to do your own research using free educational sites and YouTube...
Good tips. I'd also advise people to choose a reputable broker in order to avoid problems later down the road once it comes time to withdraw your money.
I wouldn't say it's necessarily bad unless you're expecting the EA to make you rich with no effort. Be sure that you know how things work before you try it.
I make some money from trading, enough to pay some bills and to buy presents at Christmas. However, my husband also works so we don't live off trading income alone. I think it's possible, but I haven't gotten to the top yet.
All good ideas. I think people need to figure out what they're good at and then look at the options for that. Writing, graphic design, etc. I'm good at writing so I enter short story and poetry competitions that offer cash prizes, but there are a ton of options if you're good at something.
I listen to all different kinds of music depending on my mood. Upbeat songs if I'm happy or cleaning, old rock music if I'm in the mood, sometimes country, etc.
I would say yes, as I've chosen to invest in crypto, but some may not feel that it's worth their time. I agree that it comes down to personal choice whether it's a worthwhile idea to invest.
