As Wave, are you referring to Elliot Waves tool? MT4 doesn't include it, at least not by default... I tried some manual Elliot Waves using ZigZag but i never got any worth mentioning results. E.g. third wave bigger than first.

If i check ATR then i ignore curve and use only the most important number at the top left corner of ATR tool area but i am still nor sure what are the min/max values of such number that i should care about?

I like ZigZag to help myself with finding major and minor lower lows and lower highs as well as higher lows and higher highs.
