MTF indicators are all going to naturally "repaint". There is no way around this because the higher timeframe candle closes AFTER the lower timeframe candle.
There are some indicators that have MTF interpolation to help mitigate this but the premise is the same.
You can however make certain...
I started trading 10 years ago and I've learned a ton. That being said, I'm still learning every day. The market continues to teach over and over again. And for those that do not learn what it teaches or listen to what it says, it will be a cruel teacher.
The majority of traders fail because they lack love for the game. Think about it. If every loss you take, every bad decision, every time you should have taken profit but got greedy and then had the trade come back against you, every time you took profits too early because you were fearful that...
I did algo trading for awhile too and there is definitely a learning curve. From choosing parameters to strategy creation to backtesting to optimization to the walk forward matrix, there's a lot to learn.
After a while of algo trading I realized that the only reason I tried it was because I...
Scalping is tougher for beginner traders because there is a higher noise to meaningful price action ratio than on higher time frames. This means that you will take profits quickly as whatever move you entered is likely to not last long. Also when scalping, your strategy will most likely yield a...

If you trade H4 and above, being in session doesn't matter as much but be careful around high impact news such as FOMC and NFP.
Higher TFs provide...
One of the most important discoveries I made as a trader was understanding how the lower time frames cycled into the higher time frames and vice versa. This was extremely useful but also very difficult to implement and even more confusing to understand.
There are always multiple trends...
I trade on my computer whether I'm scalping, day trading, or swing trading. I used to use my phone to check my longer term trades but MT4 is no longer available in the Apple app store.
Metatrader 4 is more than enough to get started. Metatrader 5 is better for algo trading because it is multi-threaded.
Also, the industry has been slow to move to MT5 so there is currently more variety of tools and indicators available for MT4.
I hope this helps
