I am new to Forex trading and I keep reading that 90% of traders lose money. How is that even possible? Even if you were to trade completely randomly with zero knowledge and using no indicators and having set TP & SL you should at least break even. So what exactly are people doing wrong...

Bearish & Bullish Flags or MACD are said to be very good.

Sounds too simple to actually be profitable, but if it does have an edge - no matter how tiny - then it will be worth it.

But surely with greater volatility comes the risk of being stopped out?

A lot depends on whether you are a short or long-term trader. Clearly, if it's long term then I would suggest now is the time to buy, as the price has dropped quite a bit. For short term I would recommend you copy trade someone with a proven track record.
