I have tested quite a few EAs and my conclusion is that they don't work too well in the longterm. You might find one that shows good result over a week or so but then it hits drawdown and that can blow your account.

The fundamentals of the market are still the same so i think they would still hold. Of course, nothing is 100% so it cannot be relied upon solely as a trading methodology.
