I agree, but in most cases the issue is which patterns have a better degree of success compared to the other patterns. The higher reliability of a a pattern is the sole determinant of a successful trading strategy

You can use the signals as a basis for understanding what are the key components to a good trading system. I am not necessarily saying that you should buy any but if you see an EA that has a good trading history, it is worth looking to see WHY it is successful
