Ethereum rallied with 2000% for the past year and reached a record high above 4360 USD this week. What is more, analysts predict that its price may reach the eye-watering 20,000 USD by 2025.
Ethereum is the second most valuable cryptocurrency on the market with a market cap over 500 billion US dollars. In recent weeks it even outperformed Bitcoin and gained 10% in less than 24 hours to reach the aforementioned peak.
Also, in April and the beginning of May Ethereum reached new all-time heights, doubling its price in around 30 days, overshadowing Bitcoin’s performance, which has barely moved since February.
Now, according to Forbes, a panel of about 35 analysts, including the chief executive of Coinmama, Sagi Bakshi, predicted that Ethereum will rally with another 400% by 2025 and it will reach almost 20,000 USD.
The prediction for the rest of the current year is more modest – according to the analysts, Ethereum will reach about 4500 USD.
