Cryptocurrency worth some 102 million US dollars has been seized by the US Secret Service – that was revealed by David M. Smith, who is a senior official with the United States Secret Service. He revealed that information during an interview with CNBC. Mr. Smith is the 28th Assistant Director of the agency who oversees the global investigative missions, consisting of 161 offices and over 3,000 people.
According to Mr. Smith, the US Secret Service monitors BTC and other crypto transactions. He also added that “When you follow a digital currency wallet, it’s no different than an email address that has some correlating identifiers.”
