The “cup and pen” model is a technical form of price that resembles a cup and pen, where the cup has the shape of the letter “U” and the pen has a slight drift down. The right side of the picture - the pen - is smaller than the left side - the cup, and recedes no more than 50% from the top. This can be either a continuation or a reversal pattern.
