What does it mean if a broker is said to have a dealing desk?
Explain with some illustrations please

I don't have illustrations since I don't really think that it needs one. But, dealing desk brokers are brokers with the job to trade against your trade to gain money. Example, if you long EUR/USD, they will open a short. This is because majority of traders fail in the FX market and by opening opposite positions, they can earn a lot of money.
