Forex News How will cpi affect gold

The appreciation of the usd has seen gold shooting downwards likewise for the us500 indices , will there be a twist this time ?, only if demand exceeds supply.

Am a Gold trader and from yesterday drop to a MAJOR demand zone around 1916, IF before CPI news price hold ABOVE 1916 STRONGLY, CPI will push price up to around 1940. However, IF price close below 1916 before CPI today, price will drop to previous month demand zone at 1902 - 1898.
