How Trading Works With Leverage

I'm newer to forex trading and I'm unsure of how trading works with leverage so I'll just include a slight example with my question

If my account has a $100 balance and leverage of 100:1 (total $10,000) will my account balance empty if the trade goes past -$100 or continue to trade with leverage?

Leverage is the one that helps to maximize your profits and losses as well.

I do not recommend that you use leverage because losses can be potential because you must have a very specific plan, but your strategy will not work at all.
