is MT4 UGRADE a wrong idea for someone using EA

can MT4 upgrade cause a trading sytem not to load anymore? this is a system i have been using in windows seven and i have been logging in without presure untill suddenly i cant anymoore.. if u have experienced this before, kindly help out

Update is necessary because metaquotes and brocker stop to support some version
Actualy version more old than v3147 are unsupported and do not download live data quotation currency
