Learn to get a feel for the markets with real money and start with the monthly time frames , is the overall price cheap or expensive than look at the basics ..

Baby pips is a safe and free place to get the basics down and if your a really new trader don't buy anything as 99% of the time courses will package free BS from the internet!

Always learn with real money but pennies or the smallest you can trade .. there are brokers that allow 0.01 - 10p or 10 cents and unit based brokers like OANDA that you can get down to 0.001 1p or 1 cent per pip...

I personally do not use them but a cheap way to learn with little amounts..
