The Golden Axe Strategy

In numerous occassions while trading the Vix 75 or other synthetic indices on Deriv, I've often realized that this strategy doesn't always work. For example, it will give a signal of a potential buy, but the opposite often happens at the point of intersection. Does any one know which are the best indicators/ strategies to employ to smash these indices?
