Pivot levels are levels calculated by special formulas based on the candlestick the day before or the week before or the month before and even the year before. That traders use as support and resistance lines and have their own trading strategies. Note, however, that the Pivot Levels are different from the Pivot Points, which are essentially price turnover points.
