what is the best EMA settings ???

i would like to know what is the best EMA settings or sma settings that really help with trend direction

I suggest EMA50. I have been using it to determine trend direction. I apply it in D1 timeframe.

im like to use a 2 smoothed MA of 8 periods, but one of them apply to high, and other to low. Also a EMA or MA of 100 periods, the smoothed lines makes a channel, when the price is outside the channel have a strong trend.

Also like 21, 50,100 EMAS

I use EMA50 and EMA200. Trading bounce off EMA50 when in a trend is a good strategy.
