100% true. This is a major reason why newbies believe how easy it is to trade forex and make money. Some are even ready to put huge amounts at risk in their first trade. We need to be choosy about whom to follow.

There are legit and scam mentors out there. Some provide signals, but you need to research them (reviews) or back test their signals to see if you like what you see and move on if you don't like what you see. True mentors don't care about your money.

There are so many people who fall in this trap, by just watching someone’s fake luxury lifestyle. Focus on learning newbies.

99% of those "(input name) trader" are just course sellers. Just a bunch of kids copying each other "courses" and reselling. If you ask them to show their broker account history they will run. The only money they make is selling courses and offering some kind of subscription to a BS telegram channel or discord server where they will try to keep the noobs as long as possible paying a monthly fee. After the noobs start seeing through the BS, they drop off. That is why they try so hard to sell the courses by keeping several different social medias profiles pushing stuff every single day.

Profitable traders are too busy finding trading opportunities. They don’t keep their cameras on all the time to waste their time. The ones you see on social media are either paid by brokers or will ask for money from you. So, just be careful!

Ofcourse, forex trading is not a scam. But the way it is portrayed on social media by fake rich influences people negatively. These influencers will make you believe that trading forex has turned them into billionaires in their 20s-30s. The story and growth of real forex traders are nowhere near to that.

You can’t trust anyone who states that they made millions in just a few days and they want to help you out. Rags to riches stories aren’t applicable with forex. You’re completely right, they’re fake gurus who just want to scam you.

The title of this thread is 100% correct. Where newbies are too excited to make money through forex trading, there are fake gurus who know how to lure them and take money from them. They will make you believe how easy it is to make money through forex trading and not tell you anything that you wouldn’t have found online.

Forex trading is a business that needs time to show results. Traders who compare it with a job and expect it to give them a paycheck by the end of each month often call it a scam when they don’t receive the expected profits after a certain period of time. You need to keep patience to make it work for you.

Do not fall for the luxurious lifestyles of so-called gurus. They are all scams. Have patience, learn everything about the market, and start experimenting.

Very true! They only seek to steal your money from right under your nose. There's no point in trusting them, all that it will lead to is a loss of money on your side. Don’t risk it. It’ll just hurt you.

Some forex traders, mostly the new ones, get too influenced by what traders on social media tell them. As they lack knowledge, they even take some extreme steps that lead to losses. They need to understand that all that they see on social media is not true and if they want a long, profitable career, they must not be distracted easily.

Yes absolutely, these fake “gurus” fool everyone and make a lot of money. They scam you by showing their luxurious lifestyle and people get easily trapped into their bait. Be aware of the scams and know how to identify one

It’s important for traders to ensure that they choose the right person to follow. New traders become easy prey for scams. You have to make sure that you don’t take a step that you have no idea about to keep scams at bay.

Very few of "gurus" are actually valuable. But there are good ones that can truly change your life. So develop a good critical approach to finding the good ones and you can start making really good money.

Most of the so-called "teachers" themselves cannot trade profitably, but earn only by teaching.

Where the fake gurus are a reason why traders start their careers, they are also a reason why traders leave trading. On seeing someone having a great trading career, anyone would want to make money like them. But it takes a really smart mind to be able to stay on your ground and not fall for people who fake their luxuries just to scam you.

I agree about forex gurus, and business gurus in general should be approached with caution. Expensive courses and conferences claiming to teach you how to make six figure incomes and things like that are often suspicious to me. Many of them make me feel like they target people who are struggling financially, which is quite unethical.
