You do not require a mentor at the start of your trading career. On the internet, there are numerous resources. where you can learn, polish your knowledge, and improve your skills. All you need is a willingness to learn and enough time.

Basics alone won’t work if you don’t know how to apply them on your account. To overcome this barrier, you can use a demo account where you can practice trading with virtual money. Try using different strategies until you are sure about trading in the live market.

For beginners, learning the basic concepts of forex trading is quite important. If you don’t take your learning seriously, you will never be able to take the market seriously. You must make sure that you trade when you have learnt all the lessons and can take risks of using your real money for trading.

It’s not just the case of forex trading but in any other job too, beginners are often not very serious about their careers. Most of them are still filtering out options to see which one works for them. If anyone is serious about trading, they will obviously get their basics cleared first and trade after that.

Numerous websites offering forex education are available to you if you're just getting started. Additionally, you can enrol in trading courses or watch YouTube videos. Also, prefer to join forums linked to forex. You can interact with other traders on these forums and learn about the market from their perspective. You must know about various forex terminologies like pips, stop loss, leverage, entry & exit points, lots, etc. Don't forget to practise trading in a demo account before going live.

The best way to learn forex trading is through live trading. This involves placing a trade with real money and seeing how your strategy performs in the market. It’s also important to consider your risk tolerances when trading forex.

You can see many self taught traders who are quite successful and this proves that you don’t really need a mentor to learn about forex. It does take time when you are learning on your own. Don’t put the blame on your luck and continue to work on your skills as a trader. Read some good books and keep practicing on a demo account.

After reading and analysing the market through the internet and various books, beginners should focus on practising on a demo account first. They must put their knowledge to the test to determine how much of it they have grasped. Earning a profit does not happen quickly, so it is vital to backtest ideas and obtain an overall sense of how the process should proceed until they develop confidence.

If you are just starting out, it can be tricky to learn forex. But by giving time to demo trading, you can build your way up.

The learning period for a beginner can be prolonged and the learning curve is different for everyone. You don’t really need a mentor in my opinion. Most of the successful forex traders that we see today are self taught and they get better with experience. So, keep on trading on a demo account as you learn.

Mentors can only guide you, but they will not trade for you. You will! So, in the end, it's all in our hands.

You can learn to trade forex on your own. However, if you feel you need a mentor for better learning, you can learn this way as well. Take caution when looking for a good mentor because there are far too many scammers and fraudsters who defraud people and steal money for useless courses and workshops.

If you are feeling helpless as a trader, I would advise you to expand your knowledge. This is the only thing that can help you become a successful trader and win in the market. If you do a quick Google search, you will find an abundance of resources and websites to help you learn forex trading thoroughly.

As a beginner, you must learn each and every topic about forex trading. There is no point in depending too much on your instincts. When you have learnt well enough about a topic, you will be able to develop a winning strategy and follow it in the live market.

Knowledge is only useful if you implement it practically. Did you trade on a demo account? I would recommend you to clear basics again -babypips is a good source. And start practising. Take help from traders who share free strategies. Implement a demo account and see how they work. Later, you can create your own strategies.

Sage advice here. Go back to basics and participate in directed study. You have to put the work in and practice or you won't get anywhere. You have to think of trading like learning to become a surgeon or something like that. All the education in the world won't help without practice and application.

As a beginner, learning will be difficult. It takes time to grasp the fundamentals and the technicals. Realise that learning never ends and hence you must familiarise yourself with the market as much as you can.

Everything you need to know is available for free on the internet. However, keep in mind that it takes time to become proficient in your knowledge and skills. So keep learning. You can opt to look into babypips and investopedia, both of which offer excellent learning materials for beginning traders.
