How long does it take to learn forex? It will take a long time to become perfect at forex trading since it is not as simple as that to learn. Foreign exchange is a high-risk investment. You should be careful when dealing with foreign exchange.

Although you can cover the basic concepts in a couple of weeks, in practical terms, forex is a never-ending subject. You require a good trading strategy to become a trader, and there is no fixed one. Based on the market conditions, traders need to be flexible and approach the market. This can be achieved when traders learn from their trades. If you keep doing it consistently, then you can get results soon.

Forex trading is a journey, not a destination!
The forex market is a highly unpredictable market and influenced by global events, from global trade, geopolitics, to socio-economic events. It is also manipulated by banks and their trading decisions impact the market most. Therefore, it is always changing and as a trader, you need to be flexible and trade as per the market demands. There are no fixed strategies. You have to test and see what works.

It seems that you are lacking hands-on experience which may be the only reason you fail. Studying with practical application in a field is always more effective than just studying. You can continue studying but you need to spend the same amount in trading too. You can go for a demo account if you don’t want to involve your money yet.

It will typically take on average around 1 year for someone to learn to trade forex. The technical side can be learned within a few weeks, but the risk management and psychology will take around a year to come to grasps with. The majority of traders give up before ever learning to consistently trade the markets.

The theory can be studied in 2-3 months, but it will take at least a year to put this theory into practice. In general, you need to learn to trade all the time, the market changes and the trader must change along with the market.

Learning never stops, and this applies to forex trading as well. Although you can cover basic forex concepts in a few weeks, the implementation part is the hardest. Forex market is always-changing, and you need to be flexible and trade as per the market condition demands. Just be consistent and keep a learning attitude. It can take at least 3-4 years to get consistent profits. But the time period varies from trader to trader and their approach.

It can take a few months to several years, depending on your commitment. For me, it took nearly two years. If you want to learn faster, you have to get your hands dirty. Don't just read articles and books about it, but trade live with small amounts of money first.

You never stop getting educated, but I think it takes around 1-2 years to get a proper education a perspective of this market

It’s been years and days getting education even studying but all the efforts I put in ,at the end of the day I fail.why?
Have you tried to learn from mistakes? Does your leverage is safe and risk management strategy at work? Many newbies lose because of improper risk management and impatience. Forex trading doesn't forgive mistakes especially taking too much risk

As long as you are trading! There is no stop to learning in forex. The market keeps changing and you have to understand its behaviour which can only be done by staying updated with everything that may impact the market.

To be honest, there is no fixed span of time. It completely varies across traders and their grasping powers as well as level of dedication and consistency they are willing to offer.

I totally agree with your point and a trader should have an optimistic attitude towards learning.
Forex Trading is a vast subject and it is almost impossible to study it completely. It is important that a trader has a fair idea about forex trading and how it is done.

We need at least 2 years to learn Forex from its core. There are several e-books, websites writing on different topics, YouTube videos, and many other paid courses of Forex. So, all of these are educational tools that a trader can follow to develop their skill and knowledge.
